A unique offering in the AEC sphere, Trilon brings together the best of its member companies in a connective, supporting way that facilitates expanded service while preserving each organization’s original structure and local identity. Trilon is a collection of the best regional infrastructure firms in the U.S., operating under shared ownership but with each company retaining its own name, leadership, people, and identity. Building on the success of well-established firms is the idea, and Trilon is the supporting undercurrent that connects opportunities with solutions across a nationwide network.

What Trilon offers is the ability for companies to work together when a project calls for it. Shared resources, combined resumes, and local insight are what this connectivity brings, allowing expertise to transcend markets and benefit projects near and far. This interconnected approach raises the standard of quality throughout the Trilon network, affording clients the best resources available, regardless of where their project may be. The firms stay local — the backing goes national.

It is this same big-meets-small concept that drives Trilon’s developing Alternative Delivery program, one that seeks to meet the market where it currently is and approach projects and clients in the right way—as partners working toward a shared goal; i.e., a successful project. As the Design-Build model further permeates the transportation project delivery landscape, Trilon is outlining standards and practices where transparency, partnership, and shared investment are paramount elements of the process.

Analogous to the concept of Trilon itself, the vision for this program is to develop a national team with local roots, making the most of the knowledge, insight and relationships that our member companies have, then bolstering those assets with resources from throughout the network. That unique advantage, joined by an overarching commitment to shared success with project partners, will shape a project delivery program that will help our companies successfully compete in the burgeoning design-build marketspace.
