A founding member of the Fish, Mark has been providing a wide variety of low
thumpy bass notes since the very beginning.
Mark started playing bass in 1987. Like so many bass players, he didn't really choose
to play bass. Instead, he found the bass thrust upon him, a task which he's willingly accepted. His reliability
and good spirits, as well as his ability to carry exceedingly heavy objects, have long been some of the band's
Unlike so many people these days, Mark still maintains a "real job". He's a
highly-paid network engineer at Cisco Systems, a company that will eventually
rule the world.
When he's not playing with the Fish, Mark enjoys flying small
planes, mucking about
with the world's fastest CPM machine (which he designed and built), and making dangerous electrical devices.
