Trilon Inc. offers two types of services:

• When you need additional help, or expertise that you don't have in house, we augment your in-house staff by performing work on a project basis.
• Or outsource your entire IT needs to us and avoid the costs and burden of an in-house IT organization. Such work is done under a monthly retainer.

One of our guiding principles is that personal computers are personal—and deeply involved with your company's operation and with your people. Asking an IT specialist to solve a computer problem one day and leave when the problem has been solved is troublesome for both the IT specialist and for the client. No one in that position can take the time and effort to learn about your business or keep all the factors in mind necessary to make the best decisions for your company.

IT people you call on as-needed basis fix a problem today and hope to hear from you tomorrow so that they'll have something to fix again. At Trilon, we serve clients in a different way. If we become your IT organization and a computer problem surfaces, we aim to correct it permanently. That's good for you and good for us.

We always assign two people to every client. Even if just one person ends up doing the work, another team member will be briefed on what happened. Your problem will always be resolved by someone you've worked with before—someone completely familiar with your environment—not just the next consultant in line.

Trilon doesn't sell products; we sell only our services. That allows us to recommend products with no taint of conflict. We select what's best in the industry and best for your business. We'll help you pick the products to buy, and you buy them.

Audiovisual Systems Design and Project Management

Trilon provide a variety of services geared towards the creation or improvement of audiovisual facilities. We offer complete custom A/V solutions, starting with a design carefully tailored for your needs and mindful of your budget, and we can follow through with equipment selection, installation management, testing, and training. We don't just drop a design in your lap, leaving you to deal with the rest of the project as do most A/V consultants; we can be there every step of the way, acting as your advocate, to ensure compliance with your goals and high quality from start to finish.

We are capable of solving difficult A/V challenges with leading-edge equipment, not just knocking out “hang and bang” designs that don't take into account your specific needs. Integration with data networks and computing systems is no impediment for us due to our extensive IT experience, and we have worked with a variety of digital audio products and computerized A/V control systems as well. Our longtime close working relationship with the area's most highly regarded A/V installation company, Clear Sound, uniquely positions us to tackle audiovisual projects that demand excellence, not compromise.

• A/V Systems Design: We can design a complete audiovisual system of nearly any scale for your facility. We specialize in extracting the precise needs of our clients and then crafting a design that provably meets those needs; we don't dictate, we listen. Then we dictate.
• Complete Project Management: In many cases, our clients simply can't take on the task of watching over the shoulders of the contractors involved in installing an A/V system. Trilon can take on that responsibility. We have experience interacting with general contractors, electricians, and other trades, as well as with A/V installers, and we believe in strong client advocacy while understanding what is required to get all the involved trades to pull in the same direction.
• Odd or Unusual: That describes us! But it also describes the sorts of problems we excel in solving elegantly. We have created automatic digital video capture systems for houses of worship, sound reinforcement systems with flat-panel systems control for state legislatures, and other unique solutions. We pride ourselves in digging up specialized equipment to solve tough problems, and we strive for both simplicity and flexibility in our system designs. • Acoustic Adjustments and Problem Solving: Trilon has both the experience and the test equipment to help solve irritating sound reinforcement quality problems. We can perform system tuning, but we can also go beyond tuning to recommending acoustic treatments, speaker selection and placement, and signal processing. Our experience with university lecture halls and classrooms has given us real-world experience with making such spaces highly intelligible using a set of principles we have developed over the years.
