From Trilon's Director of Product Development

To All IOH Customers

July 15, 1998

As you may have heard, Apple Computer recently announced that they would no longer manufacture Newton products.

As Director of Product Development at Trilon, Inc., I want to assure our customers that their investment in the Inspection On Hand (IOH) software solution continues to be fully protected. I am pleased to confirm that Trilon will continue to support the Newton. Existing IOH customers can take advantage of our customer support philosophy which will allow them to migrate from the Newton to the upcoming Windows CE platform, with no incremental software licensing fees. This completely risk-free policy will provide those customers who have already selected the Newton the ability to evaluate the latest Windows CE hand-helds as they become available later this year.

Trilon is committed to offering the finest bridge inspection solutions to our customers based on multiple hardware platforms, which assures them of a long term upgrade path and allows them to leverage their software investment independent of hardware turnover.

I look forward to continuing our partnership as your bridge inspection information systems vendor. Please feel free to contact Trilon concerning any product related issues.

Sincerely,

John Hagan
Director of Product Development
Trilon, Inc.
